The Challenge
As DMN Group's logistics operations expanded across multiple sites and services, their driver onboarding process became increasingly complex and time-consuming. New drivers faced a maze of paperwork, training sessions, and lengthy approval processes that often delayed their ability to start working.
The manual induction process required drivers to gather details from the Department of Vehicles and Licencing, submit paperwork, bring hard copies to DMN's office, complete forms that then had to be keyed in by DMN staff. This created bottlenecks during busy periods and led to frustrated applicants who sometimes abandoned the process altogether.
DMN's HR and operations teams approached Linden Services with a specific challenge:
"How can we streamline our driver recruitment and induction process to get qualified
drivers on the road faster while maintaining our high standards for safety and compliance?"
